Grounded in humanity

Our clients were keen to blend modern aesthetics with their antique furniture collection. We were careful to choose materials and finishes that complemented the antique pieces, and unite the space — making for a warm and welcoming home. We designed furniture from reclaimed teakwood, rosewood and cane, and the designs were realised by craftsmen in Kerala. The 8 x 3ft dining table is shaped from a beautiful 200-year-old jungle jack tree, and a 120-year-old gable forms a statement piece in the living room.
